Rotherham United U18s slipped to a narrow defeat against Hartlepool in the North East, in a tightly contested Youth Alliance League fixture.
Adam Clark’s strike on the hour mark was not enough to claim a share of the spoils for the Academy, who went down 2-1.
The Academy are next in action when they host Huddersfield Town in the Youth Alliance League.
