- No in-stadium music to be played from 7:35pm as a mark of respect

- Big screen to display an image of HM Queen Elizabeth II from this time onwards until kick-off

- Everyone inside AESSEAL New York Stadium to observe a minute's silence before the national anthem, God Save The King, is played prior to kick-off

- Teams and match officials to wear black armbands

PLANNED TRIBUTES.png

Everyone at Rotherham United was deeply saddened to learn of the Queen’s passing last Thursday, with our thoughts, prayers and heartfelt condolences extended to the Royal Family and everyone associated with Her Majesty.

Over a 70-year reign, her Majesty served the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth with distinction, and as a mark of respect, we will hold a one minute’s silence, followed by the National Anthem – which is now officially God Save The King – ahead of kick off.

A picture of Her Majesty will be displayed on the big screen at AESSEAL New York Stadium throughout the planned tribute.

As a further mark of respect, players and coaching staff from both sides, as well as the match officials will wear black armbands for the fixture.

We would like to thank everyone in advance for helping us pay our respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
