Rotherham United wing back Shane Ferguson has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming Nations League fixtures against Kosova and Greece.
The 31-year-old has been a regular in the setup for the Green and White Army for a number of years and has once again earned his place in their side as Ian Baraclough prepares them for battle in the Nations League.
Ferguson and his compatriots currently sit third in League C Group 2 having played four matches and alongside the two aforementioned opponents, are also competing with Cyprus in the group.
The Newcastle Academy product could be involved for Northern Ireland in fixtures as follows:
Saturday 24th September 2022
Northern Ireland v Kosovo
National Football Stadium, Belfast
Tuesday 27th September 2022
Greece v Northern Ireland
George Kamaras Stadium, Athens
We would like to wish Shane all the best for when he departs to represent his country over the international break.
