Rotherham United boss Paul Warne praised his side's workrate as they earned another valuable point on the road in the Sky Bet Championship with a 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium...
“There was a lot of tired bodies, that’s for sure.
“I thought that we limited them to very few chances and obviously I would prefer it if we’d created more.
“But a point against a team away from home who wanted to right a wrong in midweek is good.
“Sometimes in a game like that, you can nick one on a set piece, or you can lose one on a set piece.
“Overall, I’m absolutely buzzing with the lads. You could see how hard they worked out of possession of the ball and made it really hard for a very good set of players.
“Maybe we have a little bit more experience in the team [than last time in the Championship].
“In my dream world, on another night, we might have won it.
“In fairness, in the first half I thought we took the ball through the middle of the pitch, but the longer the game went on, the more jaded we looked.”
