Paul Warne praised the entirety of his squad for their ongoing contribution to the cause as the Millers added another Sky Bet Championship win to their tally, with a 3-0 triumph over Blackpool...
“In the first half I thought we were okay, I thought we had another gear – but we passed the ball well, we had it in tight areas, we were courageous on the ball.
“I was really pleased with the drive of the team, and what pleased me most was Bola. He hasn’t been in the squad, T hasn’t been in the squad all season and he doesn’t moan, trains hard, and his attitude is spot-on – and I think he’s pretty representative of this football club.
“All the subs had an impact, I thought Scottie High did, obviously Georgie to get a goal is really as well. So yeah, really pleasing.
“Georgie’s [goal] was the most difficult, he took it really well. Wash had been playing really well up to then and Georgie came on and had an impact. For a striker to go and get a goal is pretty ‘Roy of the Rovers’ stuff.
“Really good overall performance from everyone, it’s nice to spread the goals out and it’s nice not to watch Woody celebrate for one night as well – so all in all the lads can go home really pleased.
