Exciting wing-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy has been named the Mattress Online Man of the Match as the Millers slipped to their first home defeat of the campaign against Wigan Athletic.
Brooke has been a stand-out player since he switched the Emirates for the New York in a temporary season-long deal, and Saturday afternoon was no exception as he was in sparkling form once again.
The England youth international proved to be a thorn in the side of the Tics all afternoon, causing problems with his quick feet and athleticism to glide past defenders like they weren’t there, hammering the Wigan box with dangerous crosses throughout the afternoon.
Norton-Cuffy won the votes by a landslide over his two fellow nominees Dan Barlaser and Grant Hall – finishing with 83% of the 559 votes cast.
