Rotherham United Under 18s gave their chances of qualifying from their Youth Alliance Cup group a huge boost, thanks to a 1-0 win over Carlisle United at The Graham Solley Sports Development Centre.
Kanye Nisbett’s strike in the 66th minute proved to be the difference for the youngsters, with victory helping them climb above the Cumbrians to top spot in their group.
Having won two and drawn one of their fixtures, victory over Bradford City in their final group stage match on Saturday 10th December would guarantee progression to the next round.
