Rotherham United are delighted to confirm that the AESSEAL New York Stadium will once again be hosting the RNN Group Higher Education graduation ceremony for the second successive year on Friday 18th November.
The RNN Group includes Rotherham College, North Notts College, Dearne Valley College and University Centre Rotherham (UCR), with this highly anticipated event is set to accommodate hundreds of proud families who will be watching the students from the 2021/22 cohort receive their certificates.
There are two ceremonies during the day and each will be followed by a celebration of all these students from Rotherham College, North Notts College and Dearne Valley College, and UCR.
The Mayor and Consort of Rotherham, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor and Consort of Rotherham will be in attendance on the day of celebration.
Our very own Honorary Ambassador Howard Webb will also feature as the guest speaker for both ceremonies. Webb, born and raised in Rotherham, is a former Premier League and FIFA international football referee, and from December this year will become Head of Refereeing for the Premier League and English Football League.
Rotherham United Head of Community Jamie Noble shared his delight at AESSEAL New York Stadium once again playing a key role in celebrating the achievements of many young people across the town.
“Whilst we provide our own education provision here at Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, it is always youngsters in the town continue their own education journey,” he told www.themillers.co.uk.
“We work alongside RNN group of Colleges and it is great to see that they will be celebrating the achievements of these young people right here at AESSEAL New York Stadium.”
