The Poppy shirts worn and issued to Rotherham United’s first team players for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Norwich City are now up for auction via www.MatchWornShirt.com with proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.
The Millers once again chose to show their support this season by featuring a poppy front and centre on their red and white Puma Teamwear home strip for the fixture against the Canaries – which marked the closest one on home soil to Remembrance Sunday.
Having successfully collaborated with MatchWornShirt in previous seasons, we have once again enlisted their help to facilitate the sale of these one-off shirts with the auctions now live.
As per instruction from MatchWornShirt, the shirts worn by players who were in action at the weekend are as authentic as can be – to the point that they haven’t even been washed!
Every shirt has also been hand-signed by the respective player both on the front and on the reverse.
