Rotherham United are delighted to be extending our partnership with long-term club partners Guardian Electrical Compliance into an eighth successive season, after finalising an agreement which will see their branding proudly adorned across our Puma trainingwear throughout the 2023/24 campaign.

Having first started our business association back in 2015, we are immensely proud to see the partnership continue to flourish, with the Guardian logo now synonymous with images from our Roundwood training base and prior to matches, both at AESSEAL New York Stadium and on the road.

Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd are one of the UK’s leading providers of electrical safety services with their head office based right here in South Yorkshire. They specialise in inspection and testing of fixed installations, offering legislative and technical support for duty holder’s to ensure that their legal requirement to comply with the law is continually maintained.

Finance Director Richard Roebuck has been a driving force behind the growth of the commercial relationship and having agreed to continue the partnership throughout the current campaign back in June, Guardian have been swift to commit to 2023/24, too.

Rotherham United Commercial Director Steve Coakley expressed his delight in concluding the deal, which will see one of the football club’s longest-standing partnerships continue to flourish.

“It speaks volumes of the relationship we’ve formed with Richard Roebuck and the rest of our friends at Guardian Electrical Compliance that we have been able to agree this deal so quickly and we’re obviously thrilled that their branding will once again take pride of place across our trainingwear on a daily basis throughout the current and upcoming campaigns."

“As is the case with all of our commercial partners, we share the same core values and principles which are richly ingrained into Rotherham United and with this in mind, it is particularly apt that their name will once again be proudly displayed at AESSEAL New York Stadium, Roundwood and within the community by our players and staff.”

Richard Roebuck, Finance Director at Guardian Electrical Compliance, shared his excitement at committing to the club as the Millers enter a new era under new manager Matt Taylor.

“Guardian Electrical Compliance are once again delighted to be able to support Rotherham United, for what will be our eighth year. To see our name and branding displayed proudly across all trainingwear is fantastic and we’re really proud of the rapport we’ve been able to build throughout our many years as partners.

“We appreciate that times are hard for everyone given the current climate and we are incredibly pleased that our logo will be carried throughout the community as the club continues to do fantastic work for the people of the town and beyond.

"We are immensely proud to be associated with Rotherham United and we again wanted to commit ourselves to the club as they enter a new era. The team continue to give everything – both on and off the pitch – and provide the entertainment and work ethic that the club have become known for. Matt Taylor continues to build on the fantastic work we’ve already seen and we wish him and the team all the best for the current campaign and beyond.”
