Rotherham United are once again excited to invite you to embark upon another Sky Bet Championship journey with us in 2022/23 by purchasing a Season Ticket ahead of the new campaign.
Following an exhilarating season which saw Paul Warne’s men promoted from Sky Bet League One as runners-up, whilst also being crowned as the Papa Johns Trophy champions, we have confirmed new prices for the upcoming season with Season Tickets set to go on sale both online and in the Red and White Shop at 9am on Tuesday 17th May 2022.
Your return to the stands at the start of last season following an absence caused by the coronavirus pandemic was incredible – to see the Red and White Army back inside AESSEAL New York Stadium roaring the team on meant the world to us.
There is no doubting that at times – particularly in the big games which made up our end of season run-in – that you were the 12th man and made the all-important difference. We can’t wait for you to play your part again as we lock horns with some huge clubs as we have another crack at life in the second tier in 2022/23.
Buying your Season Ticket online is the easiest and most convenient way of getting ready for the new season and, whilst we appreciate that not everybody will be able to use this method, allows our staff in the Red and White Shop to process sales much more efficiently.
Supporters who purchased a season ticket in the 2021/22 season will have their seats automatically reserved to purchase again this year.
Having been able to offer Season Tickets at a frozen price rate for the last seven seasons, the club has this year taken the difficult decision to make a small increase in prices as we look to compete in a tough division next season. This increase equates to just over £1 per game for adults and less than 50p for juniors, which we still feel represents great value to our supporters.
Renewal prices for adults are starting at £380* with ‘new’ season ticket holders able to purchase a ticket from as little as £420**.
Supporters renewing their season ticket will pay from £16.52* per match over the course of the season with new season ticket holders watching the Millers from as little as £18.26** per match. Under 8 season tickets in our Ben Bennett Family East Stand are priced from £35 for the season when purchased in the seat next to their parent or guardian.
Season tickets for all supporters will go on sale at 9am Tuesday 17th May and will be available at the new and renewal prices as above.
Season ticket holders from the 2021/22 season will have their seats reserved for them to renew for the 2022/23 season. The deadline for supporters to renew their seat is 5pm Monday 4th July. Any seats not purchased before this time will be released for general sale at 9am Tuesday 5th July.
This season the club are continuing with the popular 10% discount for families purchasing season tickets in the Ben Bennett Family East Stand. Supporters can ask for the discount at the time of purchase and will qualify for this offer when a fee paying adult purchases a season ticket with a juvenile or a junior. Please note this discount is not available online and under 8s are not included in this offer.
The Millers are also continuing with the hugely popular direct debit scheme which allows supporters to pay for their season ticket over 8, 9 or 10 payments depending on the purchase date. Payments made by direct debit are interest free. Direct debits will be available after this time but there will be less payment dates to spread the cost over. Direct debits are unfortunately not available over the telephone. The direct debit payment option is available until 5pm Monday 25th July.
Concession prices are for over 60s, active HM armed forces personnel, young adults and those on higher rate DLA or enhanced PIP. Proof will be required for all age-related concessions. Young adult prices are for those are aged 18-21.
Please note supporters who paid for their 2021/22 season tickets by direct debit have had their season tickets auto renewed at the renewal price. Payment schedules are currently being emailed out to supporters to the email address registered on the ticketing system. For those supporters who don’t have an email address registered, we will send a paper copy to your address under your ticketing account. Season ticket benefits
Disabled car parking
Any supporters who had a disabled car parking bay booked in the 2021/22 season will be able to renew their space when purchasing their 2022/23 Season Ticket. The cost for the space has been frozen at £125 and can be renewed online, in person at the Red and White Shop or over the phone on 01709 827768. This will need to be paid in full and can’t be added to any season ticket direct debits.
Millers Wallet
On our ticketing system, all supporters will have a Millers Wallet under their accounts. The Millers Wallet was initially used by us to return any money owed from the early curtailment of the 2019/20 season along with the refund for the 2020/21 Flexi-Season Ticket but we have also used the option for other ticketing refunds throughout last season.
Supporters who have any credits in their Millers Wallet will need to use their funds against their season ticket purchase. Those supporters who are on the auto renewal scheme will have the money from their wallets taken before the remaining balance will be spread across the monthly payments.
Supporters purchasing online will need to use their funds from their Millers Wallet first before paying the rest of their season ticket via direct debit or on their credit or debit cards.
Not all supporters will have money in their Millers Wallet so don’t worry if you can’t see any available funds.
