Rotherham United winger Chiedozie Ogbene has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for their UEFA Nations League quadruple-header of fixtures in June.
Having made his debut for Stephen Kenny’s side in June 2021 against Hungary, the flying-winger has gone on to cement himself as a regular for the Boys in Green, scoring against Azerbaijan, Luxembourg and Belgium in Ireland colours.
Ogbene will jet off to join with the senior side again in June for their Nations League B Group 1 ties with Armenia on Saturday 4th June, before hosting Ukraine and Scotland at Aviva Stadium on 8th June and 11th June respectively.
The team will then play their fourth match in 10 days when they travel to take on Ukraine in Poland.
