Even with the 2021/22 domestic campaign coming to an end, there is no let up for Chiedozie Ogbene, Conor Washington and Joshua Kayode, as their attentions turn to the international front.

The trio have all been selected for their country ahead of a crucial round of fixtures, with a full breakdown of where they are playing and when below.

Chiedozie Ogbene | Republic of Ireland

Millers winger Chiedozie Ogbene has once again been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad, ahead of their UEFA Nations League quadruple header of fixtures in June.

Since his debut for Stephen Kenny’s men in the same month last year against Hungary, Ogbene has gone from strength to strength with the Boys in Green, scoring against Azerbaijan, Lunxembourg and Belgium whilst representing his country.

Ogbene will no doubt be hoping to play his part as Ireland take on Armenia on Saturday 4th June, before hosting Ukraine and Scotland at Aviva Stadium on 8th June and 11th June respectively.

The team will then jet off to play their fourth game in 10 days, when they travel to take on Ukraine in Poland.

Our newest recruit Conor Washington will officially become a Rotherham United player on 1st July, after putting pen-to-paper on a two year deal with his contract set to expire at Charlton Athletic at the end of June.

The forward, who has played alongside current Miller Shane Ferguson in past Northern Ireland internationals, will be looking to add to the 35 caps he’s already amassed for his country in the latest round of games.

Like the Republic, Ian Baraclough’s men face four UEFA Nations League games in 10 days, starting with the hosting of Greece on Thursday 2nd June.

They will then play Cyprus twice in a week between the 5th and the 12th June, either side of visiting Kosovo.

Ireland will face Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, before taking on Italy in their final Group F game on Tuesday 14th June.

Ireland head into the international window off the back of an impressive away win over Sweden and are set to be backed by their biggest crowds of the campaign in Tallaght, as they look to become the first U21s side to reach a European Championship Finals.
