Rotherham United will discover their schedule for the new campaign on Thursday 23rd June 2022, when the fixtures for the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship fixtures are released.
The forthcoming campaign promises to be a season like no other, with a winter break to be incorporated into the schedule, owing to the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals being held in Qatar.
As a result of the break, the 2022/23 campaign will kick off slightly earlier than usual, on the weekend of Saturday 30th July.
Then, due to the aforementioned World Cup tournament, the second tier season will pause on 12th November, with the league set to resume on 10th December.
Paul Warne’s men will enter the Carabao Cup in the First Round stage, while promotion means the Millers will start their Emirates FA Cup adventure in the Third Round.
