Rotherham United can confirm that striker Freddie Ladapo will join Ipswich Town upon the expiry of his current deal at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
The striker – who signed for the Millers from Plymouth Argyle for a record fee in the summer of 2019 – scored 15 times in 41 appearances during the 2021/22 campaign, in which the Millers won promotion and the Papa Johns Trophy.
He provided memorable moments in front of goal on a number of occasions, the highlights of which included a match-winning strike against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough during the behind-closed-doors era of the pandemic and another against the Owls last term in front of a packed out Leppings Lane End.
Everyone at Rotherham United would like to thank Freddie for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.
