“In the first half we were excellent and it was the best we’ve been in many weeks. The first 45 was more like our ‘DNA’ and we could have scored four or five.
“I warned the lads at half time if they get the third goal they might get their tails up. JJ was fantastic, but he blew up, Ollie’s quad tightened up and Dan’s groin felt tight, so we were forced into a change of system.
“After that it was all them really and although my keeper didn’t make loads of saves, it was a tough final 20 minutes.
“I don’t want people to turn up here thinking it’s going to be easy, it is tough to win every single game here for us.
“Thankfully tonight, we just had enough to get through in the end. It’s going to take everybody. It’s not just the 11 on the pitch, everything matters. We’ve got some really big teams to come here yet, we have some really tough games to come.”
