Rotherham United are delighted to announce an extension to our partnership with long-term club supporters Hodge Clemco, who will continue as our Business Partners for the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

The Millers welcomed the South Yorkshire-based company on-board back in 2015 and they have since gone on to support the club across a number of ventures, most notably as our main Primary shirt and reverse of shorts sponsors across our Primary, Change and Alternate strips.

Hodge Clemco have become a valued partner with the relationship now over seven years old. The Dinnington-based business were the first from our portfolio to renew their support for the 2020/21 campaign, pledging their backing as the club looked to safely navigate it’s way through the financial challenges brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.

Established in 1959, Hodge Clemco have consistently been the leader in the manufacture and supply of abrasive blasting (sandblasting) and surface equipment, and boast a variety of products across their extensive catalogue.

Having finalised the extension to the agreement, Rotherham United Commercial Director Steve Coakley shared his delight at the opportunity to build upon another long-standing commercial relationship.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the team at Hodge Clemco, since they joined us as Business Partners in 2015 and I think the success of this relationship is clear for all to see.

“It speaks volumes of the strength of the relationship that Hodge Clemco were one of the first to commit to us right at the start of the pandemic and we are forever grateful to them for their support during a difficult time for everyone."

“I’m pleased to see the partnership extend into what I’m sure will be another successful year and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds.”

Hodge Clemco Ltd Managing Director Neil Scragg spoke of his pride of the relationship formed with Rotherham United and says he’s looking forward to another successful season both on and off the pitch.

“We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Rotherham United, as we all look forward to the next chapter in the Sky Bet Championship.

“Our long standing association with the football club has helped us achieve our goals of working with our local community and our employees value the link we have established over the years."

Neil Scragg, Hodge Clemco Managing Director

“As Hodge Clemco continues to grow and expand into new markets following the acquisition of the business by SurfacePrep, we’re hoping our business trajectory – like that of the football club – is on the up.

“We are all genuinely proud of the work Rotherham United do on and off the pitch and are pleased to be a part of this story.”
