Rotherham United are delighted to have agreed a new commercial deal with E4H, who have committed to growing their relationship with the club from Business Partner to Associate Partner for the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
The Millers first welcomed E4H to the club during the behind-closed-doors season during which support from all of our partners and sponsors was of paramount importance to ensure the continued financial security of the club during a period in which a large amount of revenue was lost as supporters had to remain at home.
E4H were one of the many businesses that we were incredibly grateful to see join us as Virtual Matchday Sponsors in their initial involvement during that time, before further increasing their support later in the season as they became our Sleeve Sponsors for our 2020/21 Emirates FA Cup campaign – which saw the Millers travel to Premier League outfit Everton for a televised clash that went all the way to extra-time on Merseyside.
The new business agreement sees E4H significantly step up their commercial involvement with the Millers in a move which will also incorporate another brand which sits under their umbrella – Rock My Menopause.
Through the partnership, E4H is promoting awareness of women’s health, a subject that is intrinsically woven through the company’s activities. Rock My Menopause is a campaign aimed to break the taboo of menopause, which E4H is using to raise awareness, support and provide opportunities for people to join the conversation about this life stage that directly affects 51% of the UK population.
This is a topic that complements Rotherham United’s ongoing efforts to support the Her Game Too initiative – which aims to not only stamp out sexism in football, but to promote women’s involvement across the game.
The Associate Partner agreement will see E4H enjoy a whole new range of brand exposure opportunities across various advertising and sponsorship platforms, whilst also being regulars in our corporate hospitality areas throughout our 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Speaking following the conclusion of a another significant commercial commitment, Commercial Director Steve Coakley expressed his excitement at the flourishing relationship between the Millers and E4H.
“E4H are a growing brand who have matched that evolution with their commitment to Rotherham United and we are thrilled at the opportunity to continue to work with Karl – who is a big Millers supporter – and his team.
“This was another deal which was more than just about talking about numbers and figures because we are massive advocates of the work that E4H do across the board, but particularly their efforts surrounding the Rock My Menopause campaign."
“The relationship is only around two years old and it began in the pandemic when they recognised that – like clubs up and down the country – we needed their support and it has been fantastic to see that evolve into the FA Cup sleeve sponsorship and now move into them becoming an Associate Partner for the 2022/23 campaign.”
Karl Hamer of E4H echoed Steve’s sentiments, citing the club’s shared values as a key reason behind their continued and growing involvement.
"Being Rotherham born and bred, I am delighted that E4H are supporting Rotherham United as they begin an exciting new chapter in the Sky Bet Championship”
“Their values of passion, understanding, inclusivity, professionalism, fun and growth resonate with me and are also at the core of E4H.
“Here at E4H we give people a chance and nurture potential, which is something we have seen taking place for years at Rotherham United and is something we are incredibly proud to say is a practice that has yielded great success over the years.”
