READ | Young defender Hull secures Hartlepool loan switch

Rotherham United can confirm that young defender Jake Hull has joined Sky Bet League Two side Hartlepool United on loan until the end of the campaign, subject to ratification from the EFL and the FA.

The Academy graduate excelled in the National League North with Guiseley in the first half of the 2021/22 campaign, scoring twice in 23 appearances. The 20-year-old has also impressed for the Millers in their Papa John’s Trophy campaign, also finding himself on the scoresheet against Doncaster Rovers and Manchester City U21s.

Now, Hull will take the next step of his footballing education, with a loan move to fourth tier outfit Hartlepool United. The North East side are currently 16th in the table following promotion last term and knocked Sky Bet Championship side Blackpool out of the Emirates FA Cup at the weekend.

Hull could be inline to make his debut for Graeme Lee’s side when they travel to Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
