READ | Papa John's Trophy Quarter Final draw to take place on Thursday

The Quarter Final draw of the Papa John’s Trophy will take place live on TalkSPORT on Thursday 6 January on the Jim White and Simon Jordan show.

Taking place between 11am-11:30am, White and Jordan will be joined by Garry Monk who won the competition in 2006 with Swansea City, a victory that set the Swans on their way to an illustrious period in the Club’s history, gaining promotion from League Two to the Premier League and winning the EFL Cup. 

Papa John’s Trophy last 16 matches take place this evening with Bolton Wanderers taking on Hartlepool United and Charlton Athletic hosting MK Dons for a place in the Quarter Finals. The last remaining Under 21 Category One academy sides go head-to-head next week on Tuesday 11 January with Chelsea the visitors to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal.

The Quarter Finals are scheduled for week commencing 24 January.

The Millers ensured their safe passage last night with a win over Crewe Alexandra, whilst Harrogate Town, Hartlepool United and Wigan Athletic have also booked their place in the Northern Section of the next stage of the competition.
