Rotherham United can confirm that striker Freddie Ladapo has handed in a transfer request.
The 28-year-old has made 29 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 12 times, including in the recent Papa John’s Trophy victory over Crewe Alexandra.
Ladapo is contracted until the summer of 2022, having signed for the club in June 2019. The club also have the option to extend the player's contract by a further year in the summer, should they wish to activate it.
Rotherham United will be making no further comment at this time.
