REPORT | Academy 3 v 0 Harrogate Town

Rotherham United Academy continued their winning streak with another emphatic victory, this time defeating Harrogate Town U18s 3-0 at Graham Solley Sports Development Centre.

Ciaran McGuckin – who found the net with a stunning volley last time out – opened the scoring for the youngsters in the 16th minute in the all-Yorkshire affair.

Rotherham were two to the good at the break when defender Archie Day found the net on the half hour mark and that is how it stayed until half time.

Substitute Ben Hatton wrapped up the points with just five minutes remaining, as the Academy cemented their position in 4th in the Youth Alliance League standings.
