Rotherham United will pay tribute to Billy McEwan and Trevor Swift with a minute’s applause prior to Tuesday night’s Sky Bet League One fixture with Morecambe, with members of both families attending the fixture as guests of the club.
We have been deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a number of former players and staff since the turn of the year and the news of Billy and Trevor leaving us last week once again was received with a heavy heart.
As a mark of respect everyone in the ground will join in a pre-kick off period of applause whilst members of the Millers team will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for the fixture.
