The Millers Memory Club – championed by our very own Honorary Life President John Breckin – are set to meet for the first time in two months at AESSEAL New York Stadium this Friday (4th February).
Following the postponement of January’s scheduled meeting – due to a rise in Covid-19 cases across the country – members new and old are now once again welcome to attend the group which provides a relaxed and safe environment for members of the local community who have encountered memory related illnesses.
As ever, the meeting will take place in the Community Sports Trust’s ground level Goal Zone facility between 1pm and 3pm on Friday afternoon.
Our amazing team of volunteers will once more be on-hand to serve teas, coffees and other light refreshments, whilst those attending will have the opportunity to enjoy reminiscing the Millers moments of yesteryear by flicking through some old programmes and books which have been generously donated following the recent article, which was featured in national newspapers.
We’re still encouraging anyone who wishes to attend to take precautions such as wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing where possible, although these measures are not mandatory.
There is no charge to attend the group and everyone is welcome to join us down at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
