Following crowd-related incidents during recent first team fixtures, Rotherham United would like to reaffirm that we operate a zero-tolerance policy towards anti-social behaviour of any kind.

The club will continue to work closely with South Yorkshire Police to bring any offending parties to justice and ensure that the good name of Rotherham United is not besmirched - as we feel it has been by the actions of certain individuals of late.

We absolutely recognise that the behaviour of this minority is not representative of a fanbase that we are incredibly proud to call our own.

We pride ourselves on providing supporters from all backgrounds with a safe environment in which they can enjoy football here at AESSEAL New York Stadium and we will not compromise that for anyone.

We also expect that any supporters following the team on the road are able to enjoy the match in a friendly atmosphere.

Anyone found to be guilty of anti-social behaviour or abuse or discrimination of any kind will no longer be welcome at Rotherham United. Beyond that, we will have no hesitation in passing on details of those who have committed criminal acts to our colleagues at South Yorkshire Police and ensure that any evidence is handed over to ensure that each case is dealt with in line with the letter of the law.

We would once again like to thank the many Millers supporters who do behave appropriately and follow the team with such loyalty both home and away.
