All-action midfielder Ollie Rathbone lands the Mattress Online Man of the Match award for Rotherham United’s Boxing Day draw with Stoke City at AESSEAL New York Stadium.
The former Rochdale man has become a fans’ favourite as a result of his all action performances since joining the Millers, for whom he has become an integral cog in the midfield unit.
Once again, Rathbone could be spotted all around the pitch on Boxing Day making tackles and playing important passes for his side in a hard-fought 2-2 draw with the Potters.
The poll which ran on our official Twitter page was closely-contested with Rathbone claiming 32.7% of the 581 votes cast, with Viktor Johansson running him close having earned 29.3%. Also among the nominees for their displays were Chiedozie Ogbene and Tom Eaves.
