Rotherham United first team duo Peter Kioso and Viktor Johansson got into the festive spirit by paying a visit to Billingley Christmas Tree Farm on Thursday.

The Millers have once again utilised the services of our club partners and will be showcasing a 25ft main tree outside of the KCM Recycling North Stand, whilst main reception will also be adorned with a smaller version at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Having accompanied midfielder Ollie Rathbone to the farm last year, Viktor Johansson loved it so much that he was keen to return, this time brining summer signing Peter Kioso with him to see what Billingley Christmas Tree Farm has to offer.

The pair were certainly not disappointed and were greeted by a plethora of Christmas Trees, Reindeers and a wide range of Christmas decorations to give the home that finishing festive touch.

Situated on Back Lane, Barnsley, Billingley have been a long-time partner of the club supplying trees and decorations during our stint here at AESSEAL New York Stadium and Head of Commercial Mark Hitchens once again took the opportunity to express his gratitude for providing the Millers with more festive decorations.

“As always, it has been an absolute pleasure to team up with Billingley Christmas Tree Farm again this year, who have once more provided us with an array of stunning festive decorations, which will take pride of place at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

“The service Billingley offer is truly exceptional and I can speak from first-hand experience on that front. Visiting the farm has become a bit of a Hitchens family tradition and it fills my heart with joy to take the grandkids up to see the reindeers and pick out a tree.

“You may not be able to guarantee a White Christmas this year – and I am dreaming of it! – but rest assured, you can guarantee that I, Mark Hitchens, will be paying a visit to Billingley Christmas Tree farm before the big day.

“I would like to once again thank our partners and friends from Billingley for very kindly providing us with this year’s trees and I’m sure they will be greatly appreciated by our supporters, as we gear up for this truly magical time of year.”

“We’ve been privileged to work with Mark Hitchens and Rotherham United for many years and they are of course always welcome here at Billingley.

“It was lovely to meet Peter Kioso and to have Viktor up here for a second time, he knows the place so well now, that we might have to offer him a job!”
