Rotherham United would like to make supporters who may not already be aware that train strikes are planned for this weekend which are likely to affect travel to our Sky Bet Championship clash with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
Colleagues at East Midlands Railway have been in touch to confirm that a number of services and routes from South Yorkshire to the capital will be completely suspended, with others operating a skeleton timetable.
In all circumstances, any routes that are operating will be shutting down at 18:30 on Saturday.
The message from EMR is that they are advising supporters “not to travel unless absolutely necessary” and that “football supporters should be aware that it is unlikely there will be return services post-match.”
We would ask all supporters to take the above into consideration ahead of the weekend and make travel plans to Loftus Road accordingly.
