Rotherham United can confirm that young forward Joshua Kayode has joined MK Dons on a loan deal which will run for the duration of the 2022/23 campaign.
The 22-year-old departs following his recovery from injury and to further his footballing education with the Sky Bet League One outfit.
The Millers have included a clause in the loan agreement which will give them the option to recall the player in the January transfer window, should they wish to exercise it.
Kayode was very much a part of the squad last season that earned promotion to the Sky Bet Championship making 29 appearances and scoring two goals.
As a result of the injury that he picked up in our friendly with Mansfield Town, ‘JJ’ has only featured once for Paul Warne’s men this season in the Carabao Cup tie with Morecambe recently.
