Rotherham United fans were given the unique opportunity to sample what life is like on the road for the Millers squad on Thursday, with four of Paul Warne’s summer additions in attendance for a tour of the Wilfreda team coach at Parkgate Shopping centre.
Ollie Rathbone, Shane Ferguson, Tolaji Bola and Hakeem Odoffin all headed down for the event and were on hand to sign merchandise, pose for pictures and chat to supporters who attended.
The visit, which had become a popular event prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, was once again well attended by fans of all ages, reinforcing manager Paul Warne’s commitment to ensuring that Rotherham United is a club that remains right at the heart of the community.

Rotherham United Commercial Director Steve Coakley expressed his delight following another successful visit with our long-serving community partners.

“Firstly, I’d like to thank our friends at Wilfreda Beehive and Parkgate Shopping centre for helping us to put on such a wonderful event. We work closely with them both and have built up a fantastic relationship over the years, so it was brilliant to be able to collaborate with them and continue such a popular day for our supporters."
“A huge thank you must also go to Paul Warne and his staff for allowing members of the squad to take time out of such a busy training schedule to take part in yet another successful community visit, and the players themselves, who were more than happy to give up their free time to meet our supporters, who they have all missed in the stands during the course of the last 18 months.
