Rotherham United would like to inform our supporters that we will be delaying the sale of tickets for our scheduled trip to Charlton Athletic in Sky Bet League One as we await further information on whether any potential international call-ups will affect this fixture.
Having sold tickets for the recent game with Lincoln City - only to then have to inconvenience fans with the announcement of the rearranged date - we are keen to try and prevent a similar scenario from unfolding ahead of the trip to The Valley.
We also appreciate that in waiting for further clarification, it may mean that if the fixture does go ahead as planned there will only be a small window for us to facilitate ticket sales, but we hope you are able to appreciate and understand the rationale behind our decision.
During the last international break four first team players received international call-ups, although the then-injured Chiedozie Ogbene was unable to join Wes Harding, Shane Ferguson and Joshua Kayode in representing their countries.
Please keep an eye on www.themillers.co.uk for further updates on whether international call-ups will affect the fixture which is currently set to be played on Saturday 9th October 2021.
