Rotherham United Community Sports Trust would like to invite fans to our Coffee Afternoon event this Friday the 1st of October from 1pm-3pm, at the New York Stadium in celebration of International Day of Older Persons 2021.
RUCST would like to celebrate this day with local older people in order to raise awareness about various issues affecting the elderly, especially after a tough 18 months during the pandemic. This day also provides us with the opportunity to recognise, appreciate and celebrate the thousands of older persons who have had an important impact on society.
This informal event will take place from 1pm-3pm and will include the opportunity to meet and chat with former players whilst having a cup of tea/coffee and cake in our Youth Hub, which is our informal, relaxed space that is located in the Goalzone at the New York Stadium. The event will also include some activities in our health suite and a short walk around the stadium.
This event is completely free and will be a great chance to come together with like-minded individuals and form new connections after a tough 18 months.
This social event on Friday gives attendees the chance to experience the Community Sports Trust’s fantastic facilities in the New York Stadium, and a chance to find out about any other sessions that our Health department provide.
