READ | Wiles claims PA Entertainments Man of the Match award in collaboration with Terrace Threads following Wycombe draw

20 October 2021

Ben Wiles has been rewarded for a strong performance in midfield last night, with the PA Entertainments Man of the Match award, in collaboration with Terrace Threads.

On a night where everyone had to dig deep and battle hard during a wet and blustery night at AESSEAL New York Stadium, it was Wiles who won the plaudits for a strong display in the engine room.

The midfielder helped the Millers at both ends of the pitch with a highly energetic display, the highlight being a wonderful piece of skill to turn away from Chairboys defender Anthony Stewart with a deft turn.

There were strong displays all-round, with Wiles edging out fellow midfielder Dan Barlaser with 35.6% of the 472 votes cast. Josh Vickers and Rarmani Edmonds-Green were also nominated, in a match which saw the Millers keep their seventh clean sheet of the 2021/22 campaign.

This poll is supported by our friends at PA Entertainments and Terrace Threads.

PA Entertainments have been long-term supporters of the football club and were hailed for their recent work which involved them lighting up the AESSEAL New York Stadium in the colours of the NHS and more recently, with the image of a poppy for Armistice Day.

Supporters may be aware that we recently welcomed Terrace Threads on-board, who took up the option of sponsoring our newly-produced ‘Goal Gifs’ for the duration of the 2021/22 campaign.

Following discussions between the two parties, they have collaborated to give supporters an added incentive to vote for our Twitter Man of the Match Poll, with fans who cast a vote and retweet our social media poll automatically entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher to spend with Terrace Threads.

The PA Entertainments Man of the Match and the lucky winner of the £50 Terrace Threads voucher will be revealed on a Monday morning following a Saturday fixture or midday on the day after a midweek fixture.

The next opportunity for supporters to pick their Man of the Match is on Tuesday night when the Millers travel to face Milton Keynes Dons in Sky Bet League One.
