Rotherham United manager Paul Warne spoke to iFollow Millers following his side's goalless draw with Wycombe Wanderers in Sky Bet League One...
“I thought our performance was pretty good overall, in the first half it felt like a game where neither team wanted to give the first goal away, but in the second half we were really in ascendency.
“I thought a goal would come, but unfortunately it didn’t but that doesn’t detract from the efforts the lads put in.
“It was two good teams out there tonight. I said to the lads after the game that Wycombe are a team that defend properly – as are we – and they reduce you to very few chances.
“It was difficult to get the break through tonight, on another night it could have been a different outcome but unfortunately we didn’t quite get enough to get that one goal that would win it.
“I can’t knock the lads’ efforts, it just didn’t quite fall to us. There were some good performances and we go on to play another really good team on Saturday.”
