READ | Mickel Miller takes PA Entertainments x Terrace Threads Man of the Match award after first league goal for Rotherham

3 November 2021

A first goal in Millers colours and a PA Entertainments x Terrace Threads Man of the Match award, not a bad night’s work in the capital for Mickel Miller, then!

The Croydon-born operator was back in London for his side’s trip to take on Charlton Athletic at The Valley and lashed in his first league goal in Rotherham United colours on the stroke of half time.

The wing-back had been a real livewire for the Millers down the left-flank before meeting Richard Wood’s knock-back from Wes Harding’s throw with a crunching volley, which flew into the roof of the net.

Miller’s display saw him edge past another strong performer, Dan Barlaser in the ratings with 31.9% of the 615 votes casts, following the 1-1 draw.

Also nominated were Ben Wiles and Richard Wood.

This poll is supported by our friends at PA Entertainments and Terrace Threads.

PA Entertainments have been long-term supporters of the football club and were hailed for their recent work which involved them lighting up the AESSEAL New York Stadium in the colours of the NHS and more recently, with the image of a poppy for Armistice Day.

Supporters may be aware that we recently welcomed Terrace Threads on-board, who took up the option of sponsoring our newly-produced ‘Goal Gifs’ for the duration of the 2021/22 campaign.

Following discussions between the two parties, they have collaborated to give supporters an added incentive to vote for our Twitter Man of the Match Poll, with fans who cast a vote and retweet our social media poll automatically entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher to spend with Terrace Threads.

The PA Entertainments Man of the Match and the lucky winner of the £50 Terrace Threads voucher will be revealed on a Monday morning following a Saturday fixture or midday on the day after a midweek fixture.

The next opportunity for supporters to pick their Man of the Match is on Saturday, when the Millers host Bromley in the Emirates FA Cup.
