Rotherham United are delighted to confirm that the auctions for the match-worn Poppy shirts issued to players for our dedicated Remembrance Day fixture against Sunderland are now live on www.matchwornshirt.com.
The Millers have once again chosen to get involved in supporting this year’s Poppy Appeal and the Royal British Legion by donating the shirts for auction, with all profits raised going to RBL.
We are incredibly proud to support the Royal British Legion and we hope that our tributes to our fallen servicemen and women – ahead of both the Sunderland and Bromley games – displays just how much the club recognises the sacrifices that were made to allow us to enjoy the freedoms that we do today.
There are 18 shirts in total up for auction - all proudly sporting a poppy in the centre - the majority of which were match-worn in the scintillating display which saw us record a 5-1 win over the Black Cats.
A number of shirts included are listed as ‘match issued’ meaning that the players in question were either unused substitutes or did not feature in the matchday squad.

The auctions are live until 1pm on Saturday 27th November 2021.
