Rotherham United Community Sports Trust (RUCST) are delighted to announce that we will be running our traditional Future Stars Football Camps and seven FREE Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) camps across the borough of Rotherham in the upcoming Christmas holidays.
After a hugely successful summer, RUCST are thrilled to confirm the return of our vastly popular Multi-Sports holiday camps to additional venues across Rotherham. These brand-new holiday camps will offer a huge range of activities for young people to try this Christmas including: Football, Basketball, Athletics, Swimming, Dancing and EGaming.
Funding from the Holiday Activities and Food Programme allows these camps to be completely free for families who require support with food and activity over the holiday period. Furthermore, these holiday camps also include a free hot meal for the children attending.
ALL of the camps below are for children aged 5-15. Limited paid places are also available.
CAMPS AVAILABLE:
Option 1: Parkgate Astro Girls only multi-sport camp
RUCST are delighted to announce that we will be hosting our first ever Girls Only holiday camp for girls aged 5-15 at Parkgate Astro this Christmas holiday. This camp will be run by our fantastic female staff, and provides a fun, safe space for young girls who are interested in getting involved in sport and physical activity.
This camp will be running from Monday 20th December -Thursday 23rd December 10am-2pm at Parkgate Astro, Greasbrough Rd, Parkgate, Rotherham S62 6HQ.

Option 2: Aston Leisure Centre multi-sport camp (includes swimming)
This is a multi-sports camp for boys and girls ages 5-15. This camp will be running from Monday 20th December -Thursday 23rd December 10am-2pm at Aston Leisure Centre, Aughton Rd, Swallownest, Sheffield S26 4SF.
Please note that the children with have the opportunity to take part in a swimming sessions provided each day.

Option 3: Rotherham Leisure Centre (includes swimming)
This is a multi-sports camp for boys and girls ages 5-15. This camp will be running from Monday 20th December -Thursday 23rd December 10am-2pm at Rotherham Leisure Centre, Effingham St, Rotherham S65 1BL.

Option 4: Maltby Leisure Centre
This is a multi-sports camp for boys and girls ages 5-15. This camp will be running from Monday 20th December -Thursday 23rd December 10am-2pm at Maltby Leisure Centre, High St, Maltby, Rotherham, S66 8JE.

Option 5: ESports Camp
Join the Rotherham United Esports Team and build your Esports skills on FIFA 22!
This camp will teach young people tactics and game mechanics, whilst giving out tips on how to be a more complete FIFA player.
The EGAMERS Gaming camp is specifically designed to engage with young people who are not as interested in sport, but would benefit from an alternative form of holiday provision.
This camp will be running from Monday 20th December -Thursday 23rd December 10am-2pm at the New York Stadium, New York Way, Rotherham, S60 1FJ.

Option 6: Musical Theatre camps (Christmas themed)
This camp includes a huge range of Christmas themed activities; from Dance and Drama to Singing and Crafts-making.
The aim of this camp is to provide an alternative form of active provision for young people who are not interested in other more mainstream sports.
This camp will be running on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st December from 10am-2pm at Triple Threat Theatre Academy, Nine Trees Trading Estate, Wickersley, Rotherham S66 9JG
Option 7: Disability Multi-sports camp
This multi-sports camp is for young people aged 5-15 with special educational needs and/or disabilities. It will be running on Monday 20th from 2:30pm-4:30pm at Rotherham Leisure Centre, Effingham St, Rotherham S65 1BL.
We will also be running a Disability youth club/Christmas party on Wednesday the 23rd at the New York stadium from 3:30pm-4:30pm/5pm-6pm/6:30pm-7:30pm (multiple sessions) in partnership with Rotherham Parents and carers Forum.

Option 8: Future Stars Wickersley School Football Camp
This is a Future Stars football camp for boys and girls aged 5-15. It will be running from Monday 20th December – Thursday 23rd December, from 9am-4pm.
This camp will take place at Wickersley School & Sports College, Bawtry Rd, Wickersley, Rotherham S66 1JL.
This is a PAID camp, and costs £15 a day, or £50 a week.
