Rotherham United have agreed new dates with Coventry City and Birmingham City for their Sky Bet Championship visits to AESSEAL New York Stadium which will form part of the busy 2020/21 season run-in and make up four games in a week for Paul Warne’s men.
The originally scheduled date for the fixture against the Sky Blues fell foul to the outbreak of Covid-19 within the Millers ranks, while the clash against Birmingham City will move from Saturday to Sunday to accommodate what will become a week made up of four second tier fixtures for Rotherham United.
With an already hectic calendar meaning that the Millers were limited to when they could reschedule the game against Mark Robins’ side, they will now welcome Coventry City to South Yorkshire on Thursday 15th April 2021 for a 7pm kick off.
To allow Warne’s men some much-needed recovery time within that seven-day period, Birmingham City and the EFL have allowed the originally scheduled Saturday fixture to be moved back 24 hours to Sunday 18th April 2021 – keeping its 3pm kick off time.
The seven days in question will now look as follows for the Millers:
