Rotherham United Academy are delighted to announce a new partnership with Ultimate Football Coaching Academy.
UFCA is a private football academy based in Leeds, that boasts a fantastic track record of developing and handing opportunities to local and talented young players.
They also provide a full-time scholarship programme for footballers under 18 years of age. Their two-year programme provides the scholars with education which is coupled with the continuation football development.
The partnership will have a mutual benefit for both parties and will include the recruitment of players and internal games between the two organisations spanning across teams from Under 8 to Under 17 year levels.
The partnership will be exclusive and will also support with staff development at both Rotherham United and Ultimate Football Coaching Academy.
The Millers’ Academy Manager Richard Hairyes was delighted to further the youth setup’s network of contacts, explaining that he believes the new arrangement will benefit both parties in the development of budding footballers within the region.
“It is fantastic that we have been able to officially forge this partnership with our colleagues at UFCA,” he beamed.
“We have worked with Steve and Steve at UFCA for a number of years and we are delighted to make formalise our arrangement with them as we look to the future.
“It will prove to be a fantastic opportunity for both parties and allows us as a football club to strengthen our links with a fantastic, well-run private academy.”
