Job description

Channel 2/ external areas loggist

To provide match day communication / operation of the Channel 2 external operations / loggist


Ideal candidate

We are looking for a Channel 2 external operations/coordinator/ loggist to liaise and operate communications between the external ground/road closure /car parks supervisor and staff on  Rotherham United match days.

Co-ordinating traffic management within the stadium footprint on match days, highlight areas of concern and able to communicate with the control room safety team and contribute positively to the operations on match days, complete any associated paperwork/reports.

A good understanding of radio communication and protocol required with a willingness to learn are required and the ability to relay accurate messages between internal and external safety staff.

The operator should be well organised and work well as part of the team. Confidentiality, assertiveness and vigilance is essential.

Safeguarding, Anti-discrimination and Counter terrorism knowledge essential.

Approx. 5.5 hrs per game

11.30am – 5.30pm
