Rotherham United can confirm that the club is planning to put 2021/22 Season Tickets on sale at the beginning of July – with an exact date to be confirmed in due course.
With the Millers set to learn of their Sky Bet League One fixtures tomorrow, we are keen to ensure that supporters are able to make a season-long commitment to attending games at AESSEAL New York Stadium in plenty of time ahead of the first league game, should they wish to do so.
As a signal of our ongoing commitment to our loyal supporters – who have continued to back us throughout a difficult 18 months – we are pleased to confirm that those fans who purchased a 2020/21 Flexi-Season Ticket with the club will have that cost credited back to their Millers Wallet. These funds can of course be used towards the cost of a 2021/22 Season Ticket.
The club are still awaiting clarity regarding the return of supporters as the country continues to navigate the Government’s coronavirus ‘road map’ but we are aware that there is interest from our fan base in purchasing season tickets ahead of the 19th July, which is when restrictions could be lifted.
Our staff will be completing the auto-renewal of season tickets for those supporters who had enrolled on the same scheme for the 2019/20 season – which is when we last sold season tickets. (as we have previously known them.)
At present, our ticketing team are hard at work on the system set up and finalising the details of the season ticket product and, as a result, are unfortunately unable to help with any season ticket related enquiries at this time.
Fans may have noticed recent reminders on the club’s website and social media to ensure that ticketing details are up-to-date on our system and we would again politely encourage those who have not done so for a while, to log in and check that everything is correct on your account.
The club will be renewing season tickets into the seats which supporters occupied in the 2019/20 season, whilst any supporters buying a ‘new’ season ticket will have the option to buy any available seats which were NOT sold to season ticket holders in the 2019/20 season.
However, if our return to action coincides with social distancing measures remaining in place, it is likely that until the time at which they are lifted, supporters will be seated around the stadium in a way which meets the guidelines at that time.
