Rotherham United will once again open their pre-season preparations by taking on our friends from Parkgate FC at Roundwood in a friendly which will take place on Saturday 10th July.
As has become customary for the Millers in recent years, Paul Warne’s 2021/22 side will continue to honour the arrangement between ourselves and the Steelmen by taking part in what has become a popular event ahead of the new season every year.
The game at Roundwood is set to kick off at 1pm on Saturday 10th July.
In previous years this fixture has given supporters the chance to catch a first glimpse of the Millers in one of their new strips, whilst also getting a look at any new summer recruits.

As has been the case with all of our friendly announcements, we are still awaiting further clarity on the situation regarding supporters attending and we will publish more detailed information on that subject as and when we receive it.
Parkgate FC have outlined plans to sell tickets online for this fixture – initially at a reduced capacity – but again, we will issue further information on their sales strategy to our supporters nearer the time.
