Rotherham United will host Middlesbrough at AESSEAL New York Stadium, in their final pre-season fixture ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
The Millers will welcome Sky Bet Championship outfit Boro to South Yorkshire on Friday 30th July, with the game kicking off at 7pm.
The club are still awaiting further clarification from the Government in regards to whether supporters will be permitted to attend the fixture, as we continue to navigate our way through the government’s Covid-19 ‘road map’ from restrictions.
Neil Warnock’s side managed a 10th placed finish in the second tier last term, and will provide a stern test for Paul Warne’s men, ahead of their Sky Bet League One opener against Plymouth Argyle on 7th August.
