Rotherham United have added an away trip to Harrogate Town to their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
Paul Warne’s men will make the short hop across Yorkshire to the EnviroVent Stadium to face the Sky Bet League Two outfit on Wednesday 21st July 2021 in a 7:30pm kick off.
It is expected that the Millers boss will split his first team down the middle to face Rochdale at the Crown Oil Arena on the Tuesday and then Harrogate Town at the EnviroVent Stadium on Wednesday.
Town managed a 17th-placed finish in the fourth tier in what was their first ever season in the EFL following promotion from the National League in 2019/20 and are managed by Simon Weaver.
Should fans be permitted to attend, it will provide Millers supporters with a chance to visit our North Yorkshire neighbours’ home for the first time for a fixture between the two sides.
The Millers first team friendlies confirmed so far are as follows:
Tuesday 20th July 2021 | Rochdale | Crown Oil Arena | 7pm
Wednesday 21st July 2021 | Harrogate Town | EnviroVent Stadium | 7:30pm
Tuesday 27th July 2021 | Newcastle United | AESSEAL New York Stadium | 7pm
