Rotherham United Community Sports Trust (RUCST) are extremely proud to announce the release of their Annual Impact Report 2020.

As the official charity of the club, RUCST uses the influence of Rotherham United FC to engage, inspire and develop the communities of Rotherham for a long-lasting impact on future generations.

This impact report displays the several different programmes that the Trust has provided to the local community of Rotherham within the challenging year of 2020 and the impact that these programmes have had upon individuals within the community.

Despite the challenges we have all faced through the year, the trust has maintained the continued support of the most vulnerable in the community and have consistently delivered the high standard of services which puts Rotherham United FC into some of the most deprived areas of Rotherham.

Now over 12 years old, the trust delivers much more than it was designed to do in its inception. They now are highly regarded for their post 16 college and youth work delivery, their health and wellbeing work in and around the AESSEAL New York Stadium, the bringing together of the many diverse communities and not forgetting the impact they have in many schools in the town.

Head of Community, Jamie Noble said:

I am delighted to share our Impact Report for the 2020 delivery year with you all. Despite many ups and downs, as a Trust, we managed to successfully adapt our provision to ensure the best possible experience for all our participants.”

“This report will identify the impact that our programmes have had on the local community in the past year, and it demonstrates how my amazing team of staff adapted to the Covid-19 pandemic to support those who are vulnerable within our community. I am extremely proud and I cannot thank them enough”.

“ We must also pass on our sincere thanks to all our key stakeholders both locally, regionally and nationally who have continued to support us and keep believing in our strength of presence in the town. Finally, a huge thank you to the players and staff of Rotherham United and our connected companies. We do not see ourselves as a separate organisation, we are one string of a finely tuned instrument that when working together plays the most amazing tune. It is a pleasure to be connected to such a fantastic football club and we look forward to many more years ahead.”
