Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, charismatic and dedicated individual to join our NCS Team.

Due to the successful delivery of our NCS programme we are recruiting for an NCS Co-ordinator to support in the planning and delivery of the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme. You will work closely with the NCS Manager and NCS Senior Co-ordinators to support in the borough wide recruitment of young people as well as the delivery of pre-programme retention events, on-programme activities and post-programme engagement.

You will be experienced in developing and delivering presentations and activities to young people with a view to recruiting and retaining young people onto our NCS programme.

You will have experience in handling confidential information and inputting data onto CRM systems/online databases/spreadsheets, safely storing data after use in accordance with GDPR regulations.

You will be aware of brand reputation and the importance of sustaining good working relationships with external partners.

You will be able to demonstrate your skills in engaging with and inspiring young people as well as your knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety when it comes to working with young people, some of which may be vulnerable and challenging.

You will be able work intuitively with the ability to plan, prepare and forward think before task commencement whilst also having the ability to adapt and think creatively in times of change.

You will be able to monitor and work on the tasks that have been set for you by senior management and you will be able to report/update management on your progress.

You will have experience in supporting in the planning and delivery of small scale and large scale events.

You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and welcome challenge with a positive mind-set.

You will have on-the-ground experience in leading young people in residential settings and social action (community) projects.

Above all, you will be driven to achieve the above because of your passion and experience in making a real difference to the lives of young people.

This is a permanent full-time position and the normal working weeks is 37.5 hours. Where the duties of your role require you to work unsociable hours (e.g. evenings and/or weekends) you will be given time off in lieu.

The post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring check and the possession of a full valid driving licence.

Salary: £18,500.00-21,500.00
