After an unprecedented 18 months – which included us playing a full season without you by our side - Rotherham United are delighted to confirm that season tickets for the upcoming 2021/22 campaign are due to go on sale online and at the AESSEAL New York Stadium at 10am on Monday 5th July.
Our supporters mean everything to us here and we cannot wait for the day that Rotherham will once again be re-United upon your return. We are still awaiting further guidance from the EFL - who are regularly in contact with health officials with the Government – regarding a return to stadiums for supporters but with restrictions hopefully set to be lifted on 19th July, have taken the decision to put Season Tickets on sale.
Buying your Season Ticket online is the easiest and most convenient way of getting ready for the new season and, of course, also helps to keep us all safe during these unprecedented times in which we are living.
If supporters do wish to visit the Red and White Shop in-person, we politely request that you observe social distancing guidelines and adhere to the current Government advice.
Supporters who purchased a season ticket in the 2019/20 season will have their seats automatically reserved to purchase again this year.
The club are once again committed to offering affordable football with prices remaining the same since the 2013/14 season – a renewing price freeze for the eighth consecutive season. We have also frozen the prices for supporters who are purchasing a new season ticket this season. By purchasing your season ticket in this first phase of sales, you will be guaranteed of watching the Millers next season for the cheapest possible price.
Renewal prices for adults are starting at £355* with ‘new’ season ticket holders able to purchase a ticket from as little as £395**.
Supporters renewing their season ticket will pay from £15.43* per match over the course of the season with new season ticket holders watching the Millers from as little as £17.17** per match. Under 8 season tickets in our Ben Bennett Family East Stand remain from £30 for the season when purchased in the seat next to their parent or guardian.
Season tickets for all supporters will go on sale at 10am Monday 5th July and will be available at the new and renewal prices as above.
Season ticket holders from the 2019/20 season will have their seats reserved for them to renew for the 2021/22 season. The deadline for supporters to renew their seat before it is released for general sale is 5pm Wednesday 28th July.
Our promise to you
As we go on sale with season tickets, we don’t yet have confirmation that supporters can return to the AESSEAL New York Stadium without any restrictions. The club is still awaiting clarity regarding the return of supporters as the country continues to navigate the Government’s coronavirus ‘road map’ but we are aware that there is interest from our fan base in purchasing season tickets ahead of the 19th July, which is when restrictions could be lifted.
Should there be restrictions in place for the start of the EFL Sky bet League One season, and we are unable to accommodate everybody who has purchased a season ticket, the club will look to use a grouping process and/or balloting system for the allocation of tickets. Full details of this system will be confirmed should it be required.
If restrictions are in place which result in us not being able to accommodate all season ticket holders, we are committing to either providing a streaming pass through our iFollow service along with a partial refund. If you don’t want to take the option of a streaming pass then you will be able to claim a complete refund to your Millers Wallet. The amount credited back to you will be the equivalent value of the match missed. We are waiting for confirmation from the EFL as to whether the iFollow access will be available for the home league fixtures next season. Should that service not be available, credits will be made to the Millers Wallet for individual games missed.
On our new ticketing system, all supporters will have a Millers Wallet under their accounts. The Millers Wallet was used by us to return any money owed from the early curtailment of the 2019/20 season along with the refund for the 2020/21 Flexi-Season Ticket.
Supporters who have any credits in their Millers Wallet will need to use their funds against their season ticket purchase. Those supporters who are on the auto renewal scheme will have the money from their wallets taken before the remaining balance will be spread across the nice monthly payments.
Supporters purchasing online will need to use their funds from their Millers Wallet first before paying the rest of their season ticket via direct debit or on their credit or debit cards.
Not all supporters will have money in their Millers Wallet as they may have had the money refunded to them or donated it to the United Rotherham Project.
This season the club are continuing with the popular 10% discount for families purchasing season tickets in the Ben Bennett Family East Stand. Supporters can ask for the discount at the time of purchase and will qualify for this offer when a fee paying adult purchases a season ticket with a juvenile or a junior. Please note this discount is not available online and under 8s are not included in this offer.
The Millers are also continuing with the hugely popular direct debit scheme which allows supporters to pay for their season ticket over nine payments if bought before 1pm Saturday 24th July. Payments made by direct debit are interest free.*** Direct debits will be available after this time but there will be less payment dates to spread the cost over.
Concession prices are for over 60s, active HM armed forces personnel, young adults and those on higher rate DLA or enhanced PIP. Proof will be required for all age-related concessions. Young adult prices are for those are aged 18-21.
Please note supporters who have opted into the automatic renewal option have had their 2021/22 season tickets processed at the renewal price. Payment schedules are currently being dispatched to your address registered on the ticketing system. Disabled car parking
Any supporters who had a disabled car parking bay booked in the 2019/20 season will be able to renew their space when purchasing their 2021/22 Season Ticket. The cost for the space has been frozen at £125 and can be renewed online, in person at the Red and White Shop or over the phone on 01709 827768.
