Rotherham United can confirm that left-back Trevor Clarke has departed AESSEAL New York Stadium to join Bristol Rovers on a permanent deal, for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old joined the Millers from Irish Premier Division side Shamrock Rovers in the summer of 2019 and went on to make 20 appearances in total during his spell in South Yorkshire.
Clarke, who represented the Republic of Ireland at Under 19 level, has left for pastures new in search of more regular first team opportunities with the Sky Bet League Two side.
Joey Barton’s side were relegated from the third tier last term, but will be looking to make an immediate return during the 2021/22 campaign.
Everyone at the club would to wish Trevor all the best in his new challenge with The Gas and thank him for his efforts during his time with Rotherham United.
