READ | Millers release 2021/22 Alternate strip design celebrating 10 years in partnership with Puma Teamwear

16 July 2021

Introducing the third and final instalment of Rotherham United’s outfield kit for the 2021/22 campaign – a kit celebrating a decade with Puma Teamwear.

We are delighted to unveil the design of our 2021/22 Alternate strip, which will be worn on the road by the Millers when both the Primary and Change kits pose a colour clash with our opposition.

This sleek black design includes a nod to a significant anniversary in the relationship - which has now reached the 10-year milestone - between the Millers and Puma Teamwear, featuring a pinstripe to commemorate the colours of each and every away kit worn by the club since our professional partnership began back in 2011.

The kit will be complimented throughout by a subtle red trim with the Intelipod branding featuring proudly across the front of the shirt as the main sponsor.

As always, our windmill crest will adorn the upper left area of the jersey while the Puma Cat will sit opposite on the right.

Our colleagues from Hughie Construction will see their logo appear on the reverse of the strip while the letters ‘RUFC’ will run across the front of the socks.

The shirt technology is once more made from lightweight polyester with moisture wicking technology, designed to quickly draw sweat away from the body, keeping you drier, cooler and more comfortable for longer.

The accompanying shorts are also made from 100% polyester, complete with a high-definition windmill crest on the right leg, as well as grown on waistband with inner drawcord, while the socks complete the sleek design and feature a Band Detail at the ankle and a padded sole with smooth toe seam cushioning.

The Red and White Shop are expecting to take stock of the Millers’ latest new strip towards the back end of the month of July, with details on when it will be available to purchase to follow in due course.
