Rotherham United are incredibly pleased to confirm that Matt Olosunde has been voted as our PA Entertainments Man of the Match for our Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie against Everton at Goodison Park.
It was a near-perfect performance from the American who terrorised the Premier League outfit’s defence all afternoon, before capping his superb performance with his first ever professional goal to draw the Millers level at 1-1.
The awarding of the Man of the Match prize is a compliment to Olosunde, who was the pick of the bunch despite everyone on the pitch in Rotherham United colours impressing on Merseyside.
His performance was watched far and wide with the fixture televised on BT Sport Extra 2 and it was by an absolutely colossal margin that he was crowned PA Entertainments Man of the Match, receiving 87.8% of the votes.
This poll is supported by PA Entertainments who have been long-term supporters of the club and were hailed for their recent work which involved them lighting up the stadium in the colours of the NHS and more recently, with the image of a poppy for Armistice Day.
As part of the agreement, the club’s official Twitter account @OfficialRUFC will post an online poll after each Millers fixture allowing supporters to pick out their Man of the Match from the shortlist.
The PA Entertainments Man of the Match will be revealed on a Monday morning following a Saturday fixture or midday on the day after a midweek fixture.
The next opportunity for supporters to pick their Man of the Match will be this Saturday, when the Millers face Derby County at Pride Park.
